The Career Planning for People with a Criminal Conviction website was developed to help people with a criminal conviction, including the transitioning incarcerated, with career planning and job search. One goal of this website is to motivate those with criminal convictions to discover their career and educational options, set goals, and advance in their career paths.

Information and resources in the Career Planning website introduce or reinforce career development concepts used in state correctional facilities, CareerForce locations, and community organizations by the Minnesota Department of Corrections, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, and other agencies.
