English Proficiency Tests
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
Measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand North American English in an education setting.
- Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC)
Measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use English for business. The questions are designed to test a person's ability to respond appropriately to real-life situations that happen in today's workplace.
- Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Program

- Minnesota Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (MinneTESOL)
Dedicated to the education and support of students who are learning English at all levels of public and private education. MinneTESOL is a professional association of teachers of English as a Second Language in Minnesota and neighboring states.
