About Us

This website helps people with criminal convictions and soon-to-be-released incarcerated persons find career planning, training, and job search information.

Minnesota State Career Planning for People with a Criminal Conviction was created for use on a secured computer system within Minnesota Department of Corrections facilities. The goal was to create a "website" with comprehensive career information for those who do not have access to the Internet. All content on that "closed website" is mirrored on the live site, hosted by Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.
