- Next, match your interests to your work options. Create a list of occupations that match your Holland Code type — realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising, or conventional.
- Then, look at your work values to find what’s important to you.
You want to consider careers that most closely match all three: your skills, interest, and work values. You can use the workbook activity "Occupations that Best Match" (pdf) to list careers you're interested in.
