Operate equipment that transmits radio and television programs.

Broadcast Technicians control, maintain, and operate the equipment that is used to broadcast radio and television programs. They make sure programs are aired at the right volume level and have good picture quality. They also report equipment problems.


Wages $20.22 per hour on average  
Outlook The outlook is Very Good
Education & Training High School or less is needed for entry.
